When installing forklift bearings, the following points should be noted:

1 Clean the bearings. Before installation, the surface of the bearing must be cleaned to remove oil stains, dust, and dirt, in order to avoid affecting its operating effect and service life

2. Check if the bearing surface and inner ring are intact. If wear, damage, or severe corrosion is found on the surface of the bearing, it should be replaced immediately and cannot be used

3. Choose the appropriate installation tool. Choose appropriate installation tools, such as small wrenches, screwdrivers, etc., based on the size, model, and installation position of the bearings. It is strictly prohibited to use violence to install or directly hit the bearings with a hammer, in order to avoid damaging the bearings or other components

4. Control the amount of lubricant used. Before installing the bearing, it is necessary to apply an appropriate amount of lubricating grease to the inner ring of the bearing, and the amount should be moderate, not too much or too little, to avoid affecting the operating effect and service life of the bearing

5. Pay attention to the installation sequence. When installing bearings, it is necessary to follow the correct sequence, such as pressing in the needle roller bearing from the inside of the main pin, and then installing the oil seal ring and spindle. During the installation process, attention should be paid to preventing grease from overflowing or contaminating other components

6. Control installation time. When installing bearings, it is necessary to control the installation time to avoid bearing damage or performance degradation caused by excessive heating or freezing

7. Verify the installation effect. After installation, it is necessary to check whether the bearings are installed in place, stable, and operate normally. If abnormal sounds or vibrations are found, they should be checked and repaired in a timely manner
